How to design a file goodie

Step 1 - Click on ‘2. Add goodies’
When you want to create a file goodie you first have to click on 2. Add goodies at the top of the goodiepack designer.
Step 2 - Click ‘ Add a goodie’
You now have to scroll down to the bottom of the page. Here you have to click on the circle with the text Add a goodie.
Step 3 - Create new goodie and choose ‘File’
Then you have to choose whether you want to create a new goodie or use an existing goodie. Here you have to choose New.
Now you see an overview of the different types of goodies you can choose. Here you’ll choose File.
Step 4 - Design the content of the goodie - First step
Now it’s time to design the content of the goodie. On the page 1. Reference you have to choose the file you want to upload to the goodie. You do that by clicking on Vælg fil.
Note: The size of the file can’t exceed 20 mb og the file types you are able to upload are: pdf, docx, xlsx, pptx, jpeg, gif and png.
If you want to change the uploaded file to another file you have to click on Vælg fil and choose the file you want to upload instead.
Step 5 - Write a button text
When you’ve uploaded the desired file you can write a button text in the field below Button text. Below the field you can see what the button will end up looking like. If you do not write something in this field yourself the button text will stay “Download”.
Step 6 - Create and continue
Now click on Create and continue.
Step 7 - Design the content of the goodie - Second step
You’re now at the final step in the creation of your file goodie. This step is called 2. Content and here you have to fill out all relevant fields. You have to at least fill out the following fields:
- Image
- Titel
- Description
The rest of the fields in this step are optional but you should deal with them. They can help make the goodie better and more interesting for the users of your goodie.
Step 8 - Upload image to the goodie
As the first on this step you have to upload an image to the goodie. The image should visualize what the goodie is all about since it’ll then be easier and faster for the guest to see what the goodie contains.
You upload an image by first clicking on the circle with the text Click to upload new image.
You now have to choose whether you want to upload a new image or use an existing image. Choose the desired image, adjust it and then click Accept.
Step 9 - Give the goodie a title
Then it’s time to give the goodie a title. You do that by clicking in the text field to the right of Titel. Here you’ll write an appropriate title that is short and exact. This text field supports interpolation and you can find more information about this by clicking the icon to the left of Titel.
Step 10 - Add a subtitle to your goodie
You also have the possibility to add a subtitle to your goodie. the subtitle can elaborate on the title and make the goodie more interesting so it makes the guests click on it. You add a subtitle by clicking in the text field to the right of Subtitle where you’ll then write an appropriate, short and exact subtitle. Also this field supports interpolation.
Step 11 - Add an offer tag
Furthermore, you also have the possibility to add an offer tga to the goodie. This tag doesn’t necessarily has to be an offer but it can just be something you want to highligh about the goodie. You can for example write a date, place, time or something else. To add an offer tag you have to write your tag in the text field to the right of Offer tag. The tag should be short and specific. This txt field also supports interpolation.
The offer tag will be shown as a small text field on top of the image of the goodie. You can see an example of this down below:
Step 12 - Add a description to the goodie
Then you’ll have to add a description to the goodie. The description should contain relevant information about for example where, when and how the guest uses the goodie. You add a description by filling out the text field to the right of Description.
You also have the possibility to style the text you write in this text field. If you click on A to the left of Description you’ll find information on how you make the text bold and italic, how to make bullet points and numbering, how to add a link as well as how you can color the text. Further, this text field also supports interpolation.
Step 13 - Marketing
If the goodie contains marketing you need to have permission to show it to the guests. If this goodie contains marketing you have to choose Yes in the dropdown menu to the right of Marketing. Does the goodie not contain marketing you have to choose No.
If you have stated in the setting of the goodiepack that you do NOT have permission to send marketing to your guests a lock will be shown on top of the goodie if the goodie contains marketing. Thereby the guests have to actively click on the lock and give their permission before they can see what the goodie contains. If you state that this goodies does not contain marketing the goodie will not be locked with a lock. Instead, it’ll be shown as usual.
Step 14 - Save
When you’re done filling out the fields you have to click Save at the bottom of the page to finish the creation of your file goodie.
