How to design an information goodie

Step 1 - Go to ‘2. Add goodies’
To create an information goodie you have to click on 2. Add goodies in the menu at the top of the goodiepack designer.
Step 2 - Add a goodie
Then scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on the circle with the text Add a goodie.
Step 3 - Create new goodie and choose ‘Information’
Then you can choose to either create a new goodie or to use one of your existing goodies. In this case, click New.
You’ll afterwards see an overview of the types of goodies you can create. Click on Information.
Step 4 - Click ‘Create and continue’
You are now on the page 1. Reference where you’ll see a short text about this type of goodie. Click Create and continue.
Step 5 - Design the content of the goodie
It’s now time for you to design the content of the goodie. On the page 2. Content you have to fill out all relevant fields but you have to at least fill out the following fields:
- Image
- Titel
- Description
The rest of the fields are optional but you should deal with them anyway because they can help make the goodie better and more interesting for those who use your goodiepack.
Step 6 - Upload an image
First of all you have to upload an image to your goodie. This image should visualize what the goodie is all about and it’ll thereby become easier and faster for the guest to see what the different goodies contain.
To upload an image to the goodie click on the circle with the text Click to upload new image.
You’ll then have the opportunity to either upload a new image or choose one of your existing images.
When you have chosen an image you can adjust the image. When you’re done adjusting the image, click Accept.
Step 7 - Add a title
Then it’s time to add a title to the goodie. You do this by typing in an appropriate title that is short and exact in the text field to the right of Titel. Further, this text field supports interpolation and you can get to know more about this by clicking the icon to the right of Titel.
Step 8 - Create a subtitle
You can also add a subtitle to the goodie that can elaborate on the title and make the goodie more interesting so the guest wants to click on it. You add a subtitle to the goodie by clicking on the text field to the right of Subtitle and writer an appropriate subtitle that is short and exact. This field also supports interpolation.
Step 9 - Add an offer tag
You also have the option to add an offer tag to the goodie. This tag does not necessarily have to be an actual offer but it can just be something about the goodie you’d like to highlight, for example a date, place, time etc. You add an offer tag to the goodie by clicking in the field to the right of Offer tag and write the tag that should be short and specific.
The text you type in here will be shown as a small text field on top of the image of the goodie in the goodiepack. You can see an example of how it would look below:
Step 10 - Write a description
Then it’s time to write a description of the goodie in the text field tot he right of Description. The description should contain relevant information about for example where, when and how the guest can use this goodie.
It is possible for you to style the text you write in this text field. To get more information on how to make the text bold and italic, click the A to the left of Description. Here, you can also find information on how to add a link, make bullet points and numbering as well as how to color the text. Further, this field support interpolation.
Step 11 - Marketing
If your goodie contains marketing you need to have permission to show it to the guests. If this goodie contains marketing you have to choose Yes in the dropdown menu, and if the goodie does not contain any marketing then choose No.
If you’ve stated in the settings for the goodiepack that you do NOT have permission to send marketing to your guests then this goodie will be shown with a lock over it if it contains marketing. The guests will then have to actively click on the lock and give their permission before they can see the content of the goodie. If you state that this goodie does nor contain marketing it will be shown as usual without any lock over it.
Step 12 - Save
When you’re done filling out the fields click Save at the bottom of the page to finish the creation of your information goodie.
